A llora Saul cercò di inchiodare Davide al muro con la lancia, ma Davide schivò il colpo e la lancia andò a conficcarsi nel muro. Davide fuggì e si mise in salvo quella stessa notte.

And Saul sought to smite David to the wall with the spear, but he slipped away out of Saul’s presence, who smote the spear into the wall; and David fled and escaped that night.
