A llora Davide rispose al Filisteo: «Tu vieni verso di me con la spada, con la lancia e con il giavellotto; ma io vengo verso di te nel nome del Signore degli eserciti, del Dio delle schiere d’Israele che tu hai insultate.

Then David said to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword and with a spear and with a shield, but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of the hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast dishonoured.
