L a mano di Madian fu potente contro Israele; e, per la paura dei Madianiti, i figli d’Israele si fecero quelle grotte che sono nei monti, delle caverne e dei forti.

And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites the children of Israel made for themselves the dens that are in the mountains, and the caves, and the strongholds.
