A llora tutti i figli d’Israele e tutto il popolo salirono a Betel, piansero e rimasero là davanti al Signore e digiunarono quel giorno fino alla sera e offrirono olocausti e sacrifici di riconoscenza davanti al Signore.

Then all the Israelites, the whole army, went up and came to the house of God and wept; and they sat there before the Lord and fasted that day until evening and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.
