P oi i Daniti ricostruirono la città e l’abitarono. Le posero nome Dan, dal nome di Dan, loro padre, che era stato uno dei figli d’Israele; ma prima, il nome della città era Lais.

And they called the name of the city Dan after the name of Dan their father, who was born unto Israel; however, the name of the city was Laish at the first.
