L a moglie di Sansone si mise a piangere presso di lui e a dirgli: «Tu non hai per me che dell’odio e non mi ami; hai proposto un enigma ai figli del mio popolo e non me l’hai spiegato!» Egli a lei: «Ecco, non l’ho spiegato né a mio padre né a mia madre e lo spiegherei a te?»

Samson’s wife wept before him and said, “ You only hate me, and you do not love me; you have propounded a riddle to the sons of my people, and have not told it to me.” And he said to her, “Behold, I have not told it to my father or mother; so should I tell you?”
