E gli aprì il pozzo dell’abisso e ne salì un fumo, come quello di una grande fornace; il sole e l’aria furono oscurati dal fumo del pozzo.

And it opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up smoke out of the pit as smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit.
