I o vi condussi quindi nel paese degli Amorei, che abitavano di là dal Giordano; essi combatterono contro di voi e io li diedi nelle vostre mani; voi prendeste possesso del loro paese e io li distrussi davanti a voi.

And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, that dwelt beyond the Jordan: and they fought with you; and I gave them into your hand, and ye possessed their land; and I destroyed them from before you.
