I l Signore ha posto il Giordano come confine tra noi e voi, o figli di Ruben, o figli di Gad; voi non avete parte alcuna nel Signore! E così i vostri figli farebbero cessare i nostri figli dal temere il Signore.

For the Lord has made the Jordan a border between us and you, you sons of Reuben and sons of Gad; you have no portion in the Lord.” So your sons may make our sons stop fearing the Lord.’
