E dal fuoco il Signore vi parlò; voi udiste il suono delle parole, ma non vedeste nessuna figura; non udiste che una voce.

وَتَكَلَّمَ اللهُ إلَيكُمْ مِنْ وَسَطِ النّارِ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُمْ صَوتَ كَلامِهِ، لَكِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَرَوا لَهُ هَيئَةً، بَلْ كُنتُمْ تَسمَعُونَ صَوتاً فَقَطْ.
