M a Sicon, re di Chesbon, non volle lasciarci passare per il suo paese, perché il Signore, il tuo Dio, gli aveva indurito lo spirito e reso ostinato il cuore, per metterlo nelle tue mani, come oggi puoi vedere.

But Sihon king of Heshbon was not willing for us to pass through his land; for the Lord your God hardened his spirit and made his heart obstinate, in order to deliver him into your hand, as he is today.
