F ratelli, non vogliamo che ignoriate, riguardo all’afflizione che ci colse in Asia, che siamo stati grandemente oppressi, oltre le nostre forze, tanto da farci disperare perfino della vita.

For we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, as to our tribulation which happened in Asia, that we were excessively pressed beyond power, so as to despair even of living.
