P oi gli diede il patto della circoncisione; così Abraamo, dopo aver generato Isacco, lo circoncise l’ottavo giorno; e Isacco generò Giacobbe, e Giacobbe i dodici patriarchi.

And he gave him the covenant of circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs.
