S alirono fino alla valle di Escol; e, dopo aver esplorato il paese, scoraggiarono i figli d’Israele dall’entrare nel paese che il Signore aveva dato loro.

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the sons of Israel that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.
