Ezechiele 31:14 ~ Ezekiel 31:14

C osì è avvenuto affinché tutti gli alberi piantati presso le acque non siano orgogliosi della propria altezza, non sporgano più la vetta tra il folto dei rami, e tutti gli alberi potenti che si dissetano alle acque non persistano nella loro fierezza; poiché tutti quanti sono dati alla morte, alle profondità della terra, assieme ai figli degli uomini, a quelli che scendono nella fossa”.

to the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves in their stature, nor set their top amidst the thick boughs, and that none of them that drink water stand up in his height by himself; for they are all given over unto death in the lower parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.
