I o ho cercato fra loro qualcuno che riparasse il muro e stesse sulla breccia davanti a me in favore del paese, perché io non lo distruggessi; ma non l’ho trovato.

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the fence, and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none.
