« Fatevi in là! Un impuro!» si gridava al loro apparire; «Fatevi in là! Fatevi in là! Non lo toccate!» Quando fuggivano, peregrinavano qua e là, e si diceva fra le nazioni: «Non restino più qui!»

Depart ye, they cried unto them, Unclean! depart, depart, touch not! When they fled away and wandered, men said among the nations, They shall no more sojourn here.
