I l mio popolo era un gregge di pecore smarrite; i loro pastori le avevano sviate sui monti dell’infedeltà; esse andavano di monte in colle, avevano dimenticato il luogo del loro riposo.

My people are lost sheep; their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they turned them away on the mountains: they went from mountain to hill, they forgot their resting-place.
