P erciò così parla il Signore, Dio degli eserciti: «Poiché avete detto quelle parole, ecco, io farò in modo che la mia parola sia come fuoco nella tua bocca, che questo popolo sia come legno e che quel fuoco lo divori.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah, the God of hosts: Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them.
