M oab era tranquillo fin dalla sua giovinezza, riposava come vino sulla sua feccia, non è stato travasato da vaso a vaso, non è andato in esilio; per questo ha conservato il suo sapore, il suo profumo non si è alterato.

Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.
