I l re Sedechia disse a Geremia: «Io temo quei Giudei che si sono arresi ai Caldei. Che io non abbia a esser dato nelle loro mani, e che essi non mi maltrattino!»

And Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews who have deserted to the Chaldeans, lest the enemy deliver me into their hands and they mock me and abuse me.
