Geremia 38:16 ~ Jeremiah 38:16

I l re Sedechia giurò in segreto a Geremia, dicendo: «Com’è vero che il Signore, il quale ci ha dato questa vita, vive, io non ti farò morire e non ti darò in mano a questi uomini che cercano la tua vita».

So Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, As the Lord lives, Who made our lives, I will not put you to death or give you into the hands of these men who seek your life.
