E cco la parola che fu rivolta a Geremia da parte del Signore, quando Nabucodonosor, re di Babilonia, tutto il suo esercito, tutti i regni della terra sottoposti al suo dominio e tutti i popoli combattevano contro Gerusalemme e contro tutte le sue città:
