T utti i tuoi amanti ti hanno dimenticata, non si preoccupano più per te; poiché io ti ho percossa come si percuote un nemico, ti ho inflitto la correzione di un uomo crudele, per la tua grande iniquità, perché i tuoi peccati sono andati aumentando.

All your lovers have forgotten you; They do not seek you; For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, With the chastisement of a cruel one, For the multitude of your iniquities, Because your sins have increased.
