P erciò il Signore non si compiacerà dei giovani del popolo, né avrà compassione dei suoi orfani e delle sue vedove; perché tutti quanti sono empi e perversi, e ogni bocca proferisce follia. Con tutto ciò, la sua ira non si calma e la sua mano rimane distesa.

Therefore, over its young men the Lord rejoiceth not, And its orphans, and its widows He pitieth not, For every one profane, and an evil doer, And every mouth is speaking folly. With all this not turned back hath His anger, And still His hand is stretched out.
