“ Perché”, dicono essi, “quando abbiamo digiunato, non ci hai visti? Quando ci siamo umiliati, non lo hai notato?” Ecco, nel giorno del vostro digiuno voi fate i vostri affari ed esigete che siano fatti tutti i vostri lavori.

Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
