S ono cani ingordi, che non sanno cosa sia l’essere sazi; sono pastori che non capiscono nulla; sono tutti vòlti alla propria via, ognuno mira al proprio interesse, dal primo all’ultimo.

Yea, the dogs are greedy, they can never have enough; and these are shepherds that cannot understand: they have all turned to their own way, each one to his gain, from every quarter.
