P oiché così aveva detto il Signore, Dio, il Santo d’Israele: «Nel tornare a me e nello stare sereni sarà la vostra salvezza; nella calma e nella fiducia sarà la vostra forza». Ma voi non avete voluto!

For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
