p erché tu sei stato una fortezza per il povero, una fortezza per l’indifeso nella sua angoscia, un rifugio contro la tempesta, un’ombra contro l’arsura; poiché il soffio dei tiranni era come una tempesta che batte la muraglia.

For You have been a stronghold for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the blast of the ruthless ones is like a rainstorm against a wall.
