O ra il Signore parla e dice: «Fra tre anni, contati come quelli di un operaio, la gloria di Moab cadrà in disprezzo, nonostante i suoi numerosi abitanti; e ciò che ne resterà sarà poca, pochissima cosa, senza forza».

But now the Lord hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
