S ì, io ho applicato a tutto questo il mio cuore e ho cercato di chiarirlo: che cioè i giusti e i saggi e le loro opere sono nelle mani di Dio; l’uomo non sa neppure se amerà o se odierà; tutto è possibile.

For all this I laid to my heart and to investigate all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God; man knoweth neither love nor hatred: all is before them.
