I nfatti, la sorte dei figli degli uomini è la sorte delle bestie; agli uni e alle altre tocca la stessa sorte: come muore l’uno, così muore l’altra. Hanno tutti un medesimo soffio, e l’uomo non ha superiorità di sorta sulla bestia, poiché tutto è vanità.

For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity.
