M osè, dunque, tagliò due tavole di pietra come le prime; si alzò la mattina di buon’ora, salì sul monte Sinai come il Signore gli aveva comandato, e prese in mano le due tavole di pietra.

He chiseled two tablets of stone like the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up to Mount Sinai, as Yahweh had commanded him, and took in his hand two stone tablets.
