s i sono presto sviati dalla strada che io avevo loro ordinato di seguire; si son fatti un vitello di metallo fuso, l’hanno adorato, gli hanno offerto sacrifici e hanno detto: “O Israele, questo è il tuo dio che ti ha fatto uscire dal paese d’Egitto”».

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten calf and have worshiped it and sacrificed to it, and said, These are your gods, O Israel, that brought you up out of the land of Egypt!
