m a quando Ester si fu presentata davanti al re, questi ordinò per iscritto che la scellerata macchinazione che Aman aveva ordita contro i Giudei fosse fatta ricadere sul capo di lui, e che egli e i suoi figli fossero appesi alla forca.

but when the matter came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he had devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.
