C osì i corrieri che cavalcavano cavalli veloci, usati per il servizio del re, partirono immediatamente, in tutta fretta, per ordine del re; e il decreto fu promulgato nella residenza reale di Susa.

So the couriers who rode on royal horses went out, hastened and pressed on by the king’s commandment. The decree was given out in the citadel of Susa.
