P er ordine del re nessuno doveva essere forzato a bere; infatti il re aveva ordinato a tutti i nobili della sua casa di lasciar fare a ciascuno secondo la propria volontà.

And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every man’s pleasure.
