p erché non erano venuti incontro ai figli d’Israele con pane e acqua e perché avevano comprato a loro danno Balaam, affinché li maledicesse; ma il nostro Dio convertì la maledizione in benedizione.

because they met not the children of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them, that he should curse them: howbeit our God turned the curse into a blessing.
