D opo queste cose e questi atti di fedeltà di Ezechia, Sennacherib, re d’Assiria, venne in Giuda e cinse d’assedio le città fortificate, con l’intenzione d’impadronirsene.

After these acts of faithfulness Sennacherib king of Assyria came and invaded Judah and besieged the fortified cities, and thought to break into them for himself.
