I l profeta Semaia si recò da Roboamo e dai capi di Giuda, che si erano raccolti a Gerusalemme all’avvicinarsi di Sisac, e disse loro: «Così dice il Signore: “Voi avete abbandonato me, quindi anch’io ho abbandonato voi nelle mani di Sisac”».

And Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the princes of Judah that had gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, Thus saith Jehovah: Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.
