I l re Roboamo mandò loro Adoram, responsabile dei lavori forzati; ma i figli d’Israele lo lapidarono, ed egli morì. Il re Roboamo salì in fretta sopra un carro per fuggire a Gerusalemme.

Then King Rehoboam sent Hadoram, the man who made the people work. But the people of Israel killed him with stones. So King Rehoboam got on his war-wagon in a hurry, to go to Jerusalem.
