T utti questi uomini, gente di guerra, pronti a schierarsi in battaglia, giunsero a Ebron, con sincerità di cuore, per proclamare Davide re sopra tutto Israele; e anche tutto il rimanente d’Israele era unanime per proclamare re Davide.

All these men of war, who could keep ranks, came to Hebron with a loyal heart, to make David king over all Israel; and all the rest of Israel were of one mind to make David king.
