T olse dalla casa del Signore l’idolo di Astarte, che trasportò fuori da Gerusalemme verso il torrente Chidron; lo bruciò presso il torrente Chidron, lo ridusse in cenere e ne gettò la cenere sulle tombe della gente del popolo.

He brought out the object of the false goddess Asherah from the Lord’s house to the river Kidron outside Jerusalem. There he burned it and ground it to dust, and threw its dust on the people’s graves.
