I l re salì alla casa del Signore, con tutti gli uomini di Giuda, tutti gli abitanti di Gerusalemme, i sacerdoti, i profeti e tutto il popolo, piccoli e grandi, e lesse in loro presenza tutte le parole del libro del patto, che era stato trovato nella casa del Signore.

And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests and the prophets and all the people, from the smallest to the greatest; and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which had been found in the house of the LORD.
