I l re si recò a Gabaon per offrirvi sacrifici, perché quello era il principale fra gli alti luoghi; e su quell’altare Salomone offrì mille olocausti.

The king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place. Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.
