I l re Roboamo mandò loro Adoram, responsabile dei lavori forzati; ma tutto Israele lo lapidò, ed egli morì. E il re Roboamo salì in fretta sopra un carro per fuggire a Gerusalemme.

Then King Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute, and all Israel stoned him to death with stones. So King Rehoboam hastened to get into his chariot to flee to Jerusalem.
