E Mefiboset, figlio di Gionatan, figlio di Saul, andò da Davide, si gettò con la faccia a terra e si prostrò davanti a lui. Davide disse: «Mefiboset!» Egli rispose: «Ecco il tuo servo!»

Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, came to David and fell on his face and prostrated himself. And David said, “Mephibosheth.” And he said, “Here is your servant!”
