P oi Davide mise delle guarnigioni nella Siria di Damasco e i Siri divennero sudditi e tributari di Davide. Il Signore rendeva Davide vittorioso dovunque egli andasse.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought tribute. So the Lord preserved David wherever he went.
