P ose delle guarnigioni in Idumea; ne mise per tutta l’Idumea e tutti gli Edomiti divennero sudditi di Davide, e il Signore rendeva Davide vittorioso dovunque egli andasse.

And he put garrisons in Edom: throughout Edom did he put garrisons; and all they of Edom became servants to David. And Jehovah preserved David whithersoever he went.
