I ntanto la gente di Davide e Ioab tornavano da una scorreria, portando con sé un grande bottino; ma Abner non era più con Davide a Ebron, perché questi lo aveva lasciato andare ed egli se n’era andato in pace.

And behold, the servants of David and Joab came from an expedition, and brought in a great spoil with them; but Abner was no longer with David in Hebron, for he had sent him away, and he had gone in peace.
